Last week, we reported that former Army Ranger Bruce Windorski from Wisconsin went missing after leaving on an overnight trip. We’re happy to report that he has been found alive in Missouri.

Windorski, a combat veteran and police officer who suffers from PTSD, previously left the country on short notice top fight ISIS in Syria as a civilian. His wife Courtney was thus worried when he disappeared a second time on Oct. 17 after allegedly going to a veterans retreat. She quickly discovered that there was no retreat at all, and tracking his cellphone showed that he was last in Missouri.

After a nationwide search, Windorski has been found safe and sound.

“The hug and kiss was long awaited,” Courtney said.

The Windorski family requested privacy at this time.
