Typically, the NFL and USAA bring veterans to the Super Bowl as part of the Salute to Service, but now they’re giving away five Ultimate Fan Cave prizes.  

The effects of the 2020 COVID-19 pandemic have triggered the need for the NFL and USAA to reinvent their Salute to Service program. This year, the NFL and USAA have announced the Salute to Service Sweepstakes, where active-duty military and veterans can enter to win five Ultimate Fan Cave prize packages that will upgrade their viewing experience and give them a chance to virtually meet real NFL players. 

Each of the five main packages includes:

  • TV, sound system, gaming system, Microsoft Surface Pro 7 laptop
  • Virtual Interaction with an NFL player via video chat or an Xbox online game chat
  • Personalized autographed items
  • NFL Shop and DoorDash gift cards

10 secondary prize packages featuring autographed items and gift cards will also be awarded. 

Entrants have until November 30, 2020 to enter at the Salute to Service Sweepstakes page. All applicants need to do is verify their identity with ID.me before entering the sweepstakes. USAA is partnering with ID.me to make sure there aren’t any “stolen valor” situations for this prize.   

The 2020 COVID-19 pandemic has affected the NFL season in many respects, but they have managed to get through two weeks without any major outbreaks. has been disrupted due to the pandemic.
