While Discovery’s Shark Week is in full swing in the United States, NATO has its hands full with Greek bailouts and Russian military threats. Little did we know, these two unrelated things would come together to crete something truly beautiful.

Shark-NATO, founded to counter the Whalesaw Pact, is a pun on the title of cinematic masterpiece “Sharknado.” For the uninitiated, “Sharknado” is about a tornado for sharks.
Not much is ever accomplished in a Shark-NATO forum. It truly tries to do good in the world, but at the end of high tide, the delegates have simply bitten a Marine on the arm and retreated to the ocean’s murky depths. Much like the real NATO.
