John Burk is a United States military veteran.

He’s a former U.S. Army soldier (infantry drill sergeant) who enlisted at the age of 17 and fought in the invasion of Iraq in 2003 as well as other tours in the country (a few years later) and Afghanistan. He was part of the 1st Armored Division, Baumholder Germany, the 1st Cavalry Division in Fort Hood, Texas and the 101st Airborne Division in Fort Campbell, Tennessee, Fort Benning, Georgia and Fort Stewart, Georgia.

He’s also a “motivational speaker” and former viral video star who appeared all across the internet not long ago for a rant-tinged clip where he fat-shames overweight people in caricature-like drill sergeant style, complete with F-bombs, etc.

Even BuzzFeed did a feature on him.

Unfortunately, Burk is also a race-denier (and possibly a racist?) and someone who doesn’t believe hurting someone’s feelings can lead to death.

But while he’s certainly not the most articulate individual to ever live and clearly sees matters as an uncompromising monochromatic ideologue he DID faithfully serve his country and genuinely cares about how veterans are cared for.

He recently put out another one of his anger-fueled videos for the web to digest, this time speaking on why he finally left the U.S. Army, and what he intends to do with his civilian life.

It’s right here:

Also, here’s Burk recently acquiring his DD-214:
