Memorial Day and the weekend dedicated to it certainly saw its rightful share of tributes throughout the country. From the address at Arlington National Cemetery honoring the fallen to baseball players wearing camouflage to the Golden Knights parachuting, Americans knew full well it was the least they could to remember those that gave everything they had for this great country. Because they sacrificed so that the red, white and blue could remain free and stand for what it was founded on in the first place: life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness.

Of course, there were so many more homages and salutes that were giant and famous and public. And they’re just as special and touching as the ones leading the headlines.

Not only do they come straight from the heart, but they can break yours if you let them.
