It has become a hallowed tradition in America to turn a classic car, truck or motorcycle into a beautiful, somber mobile tribute to the courageous men and women of the armed forces that were missing in action (MIA), or prisoners of war (POW).

The blog would love to see the vehicles you’ve observed and documented over the years that carry this distinction.

By displaying them here, it’s a way — albeit a very small way — to honor members of our military who suffered and sacrificed for not only America, but for freedom all over the world. A way of life.

The automobile in the photograph is from Alexandria, Virginia.
