The highly-anticipated new Star Wars film — Star Wars: The Force Awakens — is slated to arrive in theaters everywhere this Christmas.
In the meantime, fans and artists alike have gotten busy passing the time in between with creative mashups, remixes and spoofs of the existing trailers for the movie.
The one above might be one of the best out there. It’s a clever combination of Tony Scott’s classic 1986 United States Navy elite fighter pilot jam Top Gun and The Force Awakens, orchestrated and astutely edited by illustrator David Johns.
It also provides further proof that Kenny Loggins’ pipes (pictured below) are indeed immortal and will live on long after we’re gone.
