The United States wasn’t the only country to celebrate the anniversary of the end of World War II in Europe (otherwise known as V-E Day) in grand fashion.

Take the Russians here.

Click on the video above and you’ll see two Baikal seals in a swimming pool wearing military helmets and twirling flags and toting fake (we hope) guns, to mark the special holiday.

To commemorate the defeat of Nazi Germany, Russia threw a party for their very own “Victory Day” in the form of a parade — which, according to a number of news sources, was the biggest of its kind since the fall of the Soviet Union.

Naturally, super tanks and marching soldiers and music weren’t nearly enough for the former world superpower.

Nope.

Someone needed to grab a couple of seals, throw hats on them and get them to do militaristic gestures for pride and country.

Enjoy.
