Looks like Mother Nature gave this golf course a tattoo, of sorts.
While we are in no way botanists, it looks like something went on with the roots (beneath the putting green) after the stick was electrified by the bolt.
The stick looks great though, right? Pretty resilient.
Upon being checked by medical personnel, the flagstick (in shock and wonderment no doubt) mumbled — as if to itself — “it was a one-in-a-million shot, Doc … one in a million.”
