This, ladies and gentlemen, is the Rockwell OV-10 Bronco (being flown for a European airshow back in 2013).
Retired from military service in 1995, the Bronco got its start during the Vietnam War, and eventually flew with three branches of the United States military as an insanely maneuverable “do-it-all” utility aircraft.
During Vietnam, it provided Forward Air Control (FAC), helicopter escort, observation and light logistics duties with its ability to operate from light or rough airfields.
It’s last stand was during Desert Storm, with the United States Marine Corps, where two were lost to enemy fire.
