Meet former Aransas Pass, Texas police officer Jordan Lusk.

Jordan fudged his military record, according to authorities, fibbing that he went through military training that he never actually received — according to authorities.

He’s being charged with forgery of a government document, after an online tip clued investigators into his cute little jig. Which, as you might have guessed, is officially now “up”.

According to Corpus Christi’s KRISTV, Lusk started a stint as an Aransas Pass patrolman in 2011, but then moved and became part of the Portland PD force in June 2013. He came back to reapply to Aransas Pass in November of the same year.

More from KRISTV:

He was working as a Patrol Corporal who did work with the dive team. The complaint about Lusk’s submitted record was made to police department on Monday.

He resigned before officers arrested him at his home in Portland.

Lusk is facing a 3rd degree felony charge of forgery of a government document.

If convicted, he could face up to ten years in prison and a fine of up to $10,000.
