At first, she claimed to be a soldier who was deploying again soon.

Then, when confronted, she changed her story on a dime, and said she’s just a “proud mom” wearing her son’s uniform.

But how many people are going to buy that?

What was being bought was a whole bunch of stuff, by her, with the wool smugly pulled over the eyes of merchants thanks to the fake story and someone else’s uniform — all for the opportunity to grab that unearned military discount.

Word of wisdom to the fakers out there: if you’re going to try and pose like a hero, make sure you’re not wearing Ugg boots (like the individual in the video above).

That might just give you away.
