On Wednesday, popular athletic brand Adidas made something special they designed public — a unique piece of equipment that pays tribute to the military, in accordance with the upcoming Memorial Day observance.

More than 100 professional baseball players will wear this inspired cleat this weekend.

More on the design from Footwear News:

The cleats boast a military-themed splinter camouflage woven-canvas upper and feature a red silicone poppy flower atop the upper with a ribbon that reads “thank you.” (The red poppy was selected for its common use to commemorate military personnel.) The look also features a pull tab on the back that reads “forever honor” to memorialize those who have served the country, and the brand’s three-stripe branding in metallic bronze.

The Chicago Cubs’ Kris Bryant, the Washington Nationals’ Jayson Werth and even Mets’ minor league outfielder Tim Tebow are all actively sponsored by the German-based apparel giant and will likely be sporting the patriotic cleat when they take the field in a few days.
