Here’s combat veteran and double amputee Noah Galloway on ABC’s Dancing With the Stars competing with his partner Sharna Burgess Monday night, fulfilling the show’s theme of “My Most Memorable Year”.
For Galloway, that’s a no-brainer. It’s 2005, when the former Army sergeant was severely wounded in an IED explosion in Iraq.
In the spirit of the motif, the pair chose to groove to — very appropriately — “American Soldier” by American country artist Toby Keith, in an “athletic contemporary” dance.
