ISIS extremists are calling for Robert O’Neill’s head on a pike, but this Navy SEAL isn’t worried.

“I’ve been ready for this since we killed Osama bin Laden,” O’Neill told Sean Hannity on his show. “I know how to defend myself.”

The Daily Mirror, a British news outlet that monitors social media, reported that ISIS sympathizers wanted to kill the SEAL as retribution for the death of Osama Bin Laden. O’Neill is credited with killing the terrorist leader in 2011 and has often spoke of the experience.

O’Neill told Sean Hannity that he had already contacted local law enforcement and FBI agents about the threats towards him and his family. In another interview with the Daily Caller, O’Neill stressed that all military members should consider themselves as targets for jihadist violence.

“All soldiers who serve their country assume certain risks. It’s part of the deal,” he told The Daily Caller. “But I am alert, I am vigilant and I take precautions.”
