An ISIS sympathizer who posted the addresses and name of one hundred military members to his Tumblr blog and called for their deaths was indicted before a grand jury. The suspect, Terrence J. McNeil, was charged with three counts of solicitation of a crime of violence and threatening military personnel.

McNeil began to circulate the personal information of local military members and encourage other ISIS supporters to kill them in October. He called for militants to “kill them in their own lands, behead them in their own homes, stab them to death as they walk their streets thinking that they are safe.”

He also allegedly doxxed the Navy SEAL who killed Osama Bin Laden. McNeil was arrested by the FBI on Nov. 11.

The information McNeil shared was allegedly given to him by a foreign source. At the indictment, McNeil said he did not know who gave it to him.

“While we aggressively defend First Amendment rights, the individual arrested went far beyond free speech by reposting names and addresses of 100 U.S. service members, all with the intent to have them killed,” said Stephen D. Anthony of the FBI’s Cleveland office. “We will remain vigilant in our efforts to stop those who wish to support these despicable acts.”

McNeil could get between 5 to 20 years in federal prison for each count he was charged.
