Remember Piers Morgan? The English bloke who used to have a big show on CNN after he got the nod to take over Larry King’s old slot, but then got fired from the network after his ratings were so bad?
Yeah, he’s still around, bandying about on the internet, this time as a talking head (and/or writer) for the Daily Mail in London. Apparently, he’s still doing what the tries to do best — get clicks as a famous troll.
His most recent foray? Calling beloved American pop icon Beyoncé Giselle Knowles-Carter a “militant”.
You know, the word usually reserved for terrorist or religious extremists. The Islamic State, al Qaeda, Boko Haram, etc. etc.
Somehow he decides to slap it on a musical performer who just put out an album titled Lemonade. You know, the stuff little kids sell from cutesy makeshift stands on the corners of cul-de-sacs in suburban America.
My new @DailyMail column is about militant @Beyonce.

Oooh, we can’t wait!
Our guess? It’s going to allude to that whole Black Panther controversy that happened months ago at the Super Bowl. Which, to call “old news” would be like calling Mr. Morgan “desperate” or a “bugaboo bugbear” or “thirsty”. In other words, it would be redundant.
By the way, in other Beyoncé-related news …
