Every year, Brookshire Grocery Co. and Super 1 Foods has given WWII veterans an all-expenses paid trip to Washington D.C. for Memorial Day. Veterans get a complimentary Heroes Flight from Louisiana, Arkansas and Texas, and this year they were treated to rapturous applause for their amazing and historic service.
Although it is no longer Memorial Day, veterans traveling vast distances can receive similar treatment and discounts from Southwest and Expedia.
