Seth Robson at Stars and Stripes covered a new service, Troop ID, that provides a single login veterans can use at over 100 participating retailers. The product, which works similarly to PayPal except to prove one’s group affiliation, is provided by ID.me, a technology company founded by two Army Rangers.

Well-known brands such as Under Armour, SeaWorld, Vet Tix (a non-profit run by veterans that distributes free tickets to major league sports, concerts, and events to active military, veterans, and their families), and Dell use Troop ID to provide freebies and military and veteran discounts.
