At this years Inc. 5000 conference, former Marine and founder of GoDaddy.com Bob Parsons talked about growing up poor, the Vietnam War and how being Marine taught him valuable lessons that would lead to his future success as an entrepreneur.
“I wouldn’t have done any of this if it wasn’t for the Marine Corps,” Parsons said. “The Marine Corps taught me discipline, the Marine Corps taught me responsibility, they taught me there’s a right way and wrong way to do everything… the Marine Corps gave me the foundation for anything I’ve ever done”.
