Democratic political candidate and former blacksmith Lincoln Chafee withdrew his candidacy for president.

If you don’t know who that is, you aren’t alone. Although he appeared in the first Democratic primary debate, Chafee was hardly a blip on the radar when Hillary Clinton and Bernie Sanders were in the room. Now that he has bowed out of the race, not much is expected to change.

During his resignation address, Chafee urged the new president to bring “an end to the endless wars and the beginning of a new era for the United States and humanity.”

“Do we want to be remembered as a bomber of weddings and hospitals?” Chafee said. “Or do we want to be remembered as peacemakers, as pioneers of a more harmonious world?”

See ya, Chafee.
