An anonymous person left an angry note on Mary Claire Caine’s car when she parked in a veterans-only parking spot at her local grocery store. With no other way to identify her as a veteran or not, Caine believes that someone saw her get out of her car and assumed she wasn’t a veteran because of her gender. Caine served in Kuwait in the Air Force and on the flight line of the F-117 Nighthawk.
