Okay, enough with being cheeky. Everyone knows we’re talking about Larry David in this post, the Seinfeld and Curb Your Enthusiasm creator who we’ve chronicled on this blog before for his exploits in comedy as well as in the United States Army.

Yes, believe it or not, Larry was a soldier.

Anyway, this past weekend he made a surprise guest appearance on the iconic sketch show Saturday Night Live — otherwise known as SNL — playing Democratic powerhouse and current United States Senator from Vermont, Bernie Sanders.

It was the “cold open” on the show — a mock debate with Kate McKinnon playing Hillary and Alec Baldwin playing Jim Webb (among others).
