Family Feud made television history when it asked two contestants, including a fully uniformed Marine named Terry, “Which of the Seven Dwarfs describes your wife in bed?”
As is Family Feud tradition, the possible answers to the question were pre-generated by polling 100 people. For this sweat-inducing query, only four answers were available. That means there were three dwarves that didn’t even make the cut–three chances to compare your wife’s sexual prowess to a dwarf and not even advance in the competition.
The moment gameshow host Steve Harvey asks the question, Terry bites his lip and shakes his head. He didn’t make it through military training just to get skewered at home by retaliatory feminine rage.
When the civilian, Michael, also shakes his head, Teddy thinks of a relatively unoffensive dwarf and makes the safest bet he can.
“Bashful,” he guesses. Fortunately for Terry, Michael made a wrong guess and won Terry’s family the round.
In addition to saving his own skin and keeping his team in the game, Terry’s quick thinking spawned a new meme. Good one, Terry.
