Back a bunch of years ago John Kasich, now a super unrealistic GOP presidential nominee underdog, wasn’t the governor of Ohio. He was a member of the House of Representatives, and as a middling, largely unknown politician he was also sat on the House Armed Services Committee, which oversees not only the Department of Defense and its unrivaled funding, but the United States armed forces as a whole.

In other words, he helped make decisions that directly impacted military service members. What they got, what they didn’t get, etc.

So it’s curious that someone with this type of responsibility would do simple tasks … shoddily? And that’s putting it nicely.

Here’s Ohio’s top boss shooting hoops (he actually posted this via his Twitter, as you can see, as if he thinks it’s impressive?):

And here he is ordering breakfast at a diner (not recently), excuse us if this makes you squirm or makes you feel really, really uncomfortable (the poor, poor waitress, right?):

Geez oh Pete, John. It’s a diner. There’s breakfast. You order off the menu provided. It’s not complicated.
