When a family of four, two adults and two young children ages five and eight, were stranded in their boat in the Florida mangroves off the coast of Charlotte County, who but a United States Coast Guard crew suddenly appeared to save them.
And as one can witness in the following footage, it was actually a USCG swimmer who swam to the 16-foot boat then towed it to safety (a local Sheriff’s office marine unit) utilizing nothing but their person. A MH-60 Jay Hawk helicopter initially lowered the Coastie into the thick waters, who took it from there.
The crew is from Air Station Clearwater, Florida.
