A United States Army helicopter crashed Wednesday evening near Fort Campbell in rural Tennessee, killing both soldier pilots onboard, according to a statement released by the Army’s 101st Airborne Division.

According to a spokesman for local first responders, Montgomery County Emergency Management Agency Director Jerry Buchanan, the helicopter was discovered at the bottom of a river and on fire.
