Drunk sailors have been executing sloppy capers for decades. This one, however, pulled — literally — out of the rear ends of Samuel Bland, 23, and Alex Ronne, 22, has a little bit more stank on it than usual.
Oh, and serious criminal implications.

According to local Norfolk, Virginia authorities, the two bluejackets illegally entered the Heritage Bank on Granby Street Tuesday morning in an apparent burglary attempt. When officers arrived at 4:30 in the morning they discovered both Bland and Ronne “passed out” on the floor. Apparently, prior to their break-in attempt, they each had overindulged at the bar (or somewhere else where alcohol was being served).

People who work across the street from the bank say they arrived to work early Tuesday morning to see the two men being arrested by police. They say that one of the men was escorted out wearing only trash bags. Police confirm that one of the men defecated on the bank floor before police arrived.
Court paperwork shows that Bland and Ronne have been charged with breaking and entering and vandalism. They have been released on a $2,000 bond and are scheduled to report back to court on Friday.
