A Thunderbird F-16 Fighting Falcon crashed just outside Colorado Springs after a performance at the United States Air Force Academy and a flyover during a commencement attended by the President of the United States, Barack Obama.

According to numerous reports, the pilot was able to eject from the aircraft before it hit the ground and is uninjured.

Rumors are circulating that the cause of the crash was engine failure. It has not been confirmed, however.
