While the tragic events in Chattanooga last week have set off a tidal wave of pro-military sentiment, not everyone is rallying to support American service members.

This chilling letter was found on the windshield of a serviceman parked nearby Dobbins Air Reserve Base in Marietta, Georgia. Police believe he was targeted because his license plate identified him as a military member.

“dear american soldier,” the note read in all lowercase. ”death to you coward women child killer and all the american military mohammad will show no mercy on you attacks will come full force death is to come to you.”

Both local police and military investigators are pursuing this case as a terror threat.
