Last week we reported on the tragic story of United States Marine Corps reservist, Ashley Guindon, who was murdered while taking a call as a Prince William County, Virginia police officer just one day after she was sworn in.

Guindon, who was shot and killed after responding to a domestic violence call at the residence of Staff Sgt. Ronald Williams Hamilton and was shot and killed by the Pentagon employee, was honored with a tribute that lit up the Virginia sky Monday after countless fellow officers in their squad cars escorted her body to the chapel where she was remembered the following day.
