Remember a few days ago when the Huffington Post asked Jeb Bush on his campaign bus in New Hampshire (via an email and a New York Times Magazine reader poll) whether or not he would slay little baby Adolf Hitler in his crib and he said, as only a Bush could, “Hell yeah I would!”.

“You gotta step up, man.”

Remember that?

Well, the question is making the rounds, apparently. West Point liar and red hot Republican blabbermouth Ben Carson was tossed the spiky, radioactive softball after the GOP debate by a half-comedic/half-sports internet satirical “character” known as PFT Commenter.

Shockingly, here’s how the former brain surgeon replied:

Damn, Ben. There’s sticking to your guns, and there’s sticking to your guns. And this, sir? Is pretty goddamn ludicrous.

Suppose he could always cite the movie Back to the Future or that article in The Atlantic titled “The Ethics of Killing Baby Hitler” that goes into the enormous gamble of redirecting the course of history and the unforeseen consequences that come with it (it obviously mentions saving the lives of millions of people, i.e. the Holocaust, but it also brings up the fact that the United States would be a lot weaker without World War II and what it wrought).
