Hollywood partners in crime Matt Damon and Ben Affleck are starting a new reality television show, and they want military veterans to audition for its main roles.

The Runner can be summed up as The Amazing Race meets schoolyard tag. Here’s the pitch from the show’s official website:

Somewhere in the United States, a mysterious RUNNER will be racing toward an undisclosed city. That RUNNER will be hunted by competing teams of CHASERS. It is up to the RUNNER to use strategy and determination to avoid the CHASERS and make it to the target city. The task of the CHASERS is to find the RUNNER before time runs out… or another group of CHASERS beats them to it.

So you got a single Runner and several Chaser teams made up of two people each. Both Runners and Chaser teams have a chance to win $1 million in prize money. To win the game in either of these roles, players will need to physically fit and cunning in order to travel vast distances and without being caught or losing their targets.

All in all, this sounds like something a person who has actually evaded capture or pursued enemies would excel at.

According to We Are the Mighty, producers are looking to cast military veterans with special operations experience.

Veterans, this is your shot at reality TV fame and $1 million. Even if you don’t win the competition or the money, chances are high that you will at least get to meet Matt Damon and/or Ben Affleck.
