If you’ve been reading the blog lately, you’re familiar with the dramatic journey of former United States Marine Amir Hekmati, one of a number of Americans imprisoned by Iran and recently released by the Middle Eastern country in the wake of the monumental nuclear agreement.

Hekmati uttered his first public words since being freed Tuesday, and it was broadcast by media outlets throughout the world.

Of course, the obvious questions were asked (“how does it feel?!”), but the staggering relief of being a free man once again can be found all over the American military veteran’s face and is worth taking in by clicking on the video of the short interview (which took place in Germany) below:
