One Marine’s quest to bring his dream date to the Marine Corps Ball later this year has taken him all the way to the Ultimate Fighter Championship.

In a Facebook video that has already been viewed more than 3 million times, Camp Lejeune Marine Jarrod Haschert asked UFC Champion Ronda Rousey to be his date to the upcoming ball.

“You are my celebrity crush, like, I love everything you do and I think you are a phenomenal person. Which is why it would be my honor to take you to the Marine Corps Ball on December 11…

I truly hope you take this into consideration because, if you do, you’d truly be making my dream come true.”

Rousey has yet to answer his request. She is scheduled to fight at UFC 195 on Jan. 2.

Military members asking out their celebrity crushes in viral videos isn’t new. A few years ago, Justin Timberlake accompanied a female Marine to the Marine Corps Ball in 2011 after receiving such a video.
