There are brave human beings, and then there are human beings like George Chrisman — 88-year-old World War II veteran who fought in the Battle of Okinawa in April 1945.

During the fight (which lasted 82 days and killed 7,000 Americans) he was hit by a bullet — in his wrist. In lieu of medical attention, he pulled it out … with his teeth.
