When an American war hero speaks, America should listen.

Think we’d all agree with this, no?

Well guess what? Former United States Army soldier and Korean War combat veteran Charlie Rangel, United States Representative for New York’s 13th congressional district, is a hero. Not only did he earn a Purple Heart and a Bronze Star, but he’s credited for getting troops out of a deadly Chinese army encirclement and to safety during the Battle of Kunu-ri.

AND he spoke to the country Monday while appearing on a cable TV network, and spilled some fascinating beans. For one, he thinks we’re seeing the end of the Republican party (he’s of course a Democrat) and that Saudi Arabia should stop getting a “free ride” when it comes to facing the music for their alleged role in the 9/11 terror attacks (it comes to light that victims’ families are trying to sue the oil-rich Arab power):
