Where it looks like he actually meets them — as if there’s footage of Tom Hanks in that ridiculous Gump getup coming into contact with those famous names at one point in history — when in reality it never happened?

Yeah, that was doctored by creative Hollywood people with computers.

But the following clip, where Bill Clinton meets John F. Kennedy, isn’t. It was taken on July 24, 1963, when the future president and Arkansas governor was attending “Boys Nation” — a civic forum harping on leadership and other skills run by the American Legion.
