Show choir fans and haters everywhere can have their voices heard in an Air Force-wide survey about the force’s traveling song and dance troupe, Tops in Blue. The enlisted airmen, officers and civilians given the survey have until Friday to decide the show choir’s fate.

Since it was founded in 1953, Tops in Blue has recruited three dozen amateur performers from the Air Force and sent them to perform at Air Force bases across the globe. Branch commanders have historically loved the show choir’s contribution to base morale and entertainment.

However, not all airmen are fans of Tops in Blue. Many view the choir as a frivolous, morale-killing group that wastes military money. The choir’s budget is certainly no joke– the Air Force spent $1.3 million on Tops in Blue this year alone. Roughly $300,000 of that money comes from taxpayers.

Do you love the Tops in Blue? Hate them? Then do that survey and help the Air Force decide whether to show Tops in Blue the door.
