In disconcerting news out of Massachusetts, United States military officials are confirming that more than a dozen weapons have been stolen from a Worcester army reserve center after an overnight break-in.
According to local and state law enforcement, the armory’s missing firearms including six M4 assault rifles, 10 pistols and several long guns. The FBI is currently looking into the the robbery, but the heist is not being considered a terrorist threat.
“There is nothing at this point in time that would tie this to any specific threat or anything else at this point,” said Hank Shaw, a special agent in the FBI’s Boston division, at a press conference Sunday.

Investigators said the thieves snuck in through the reserve center’s roof, WCVB reported.
The missing weapons were logged into a national database, and federal, state and local police have all been alerted, Kristen Setera, an FBI spokeswoman, told the Boston Herald.
