How many aircraft carriers does Russia have?

Hint: you can count them on one hand.

Another hint: you can count them … on one finger.

That’s because — it’s true — they only have one. It’s called the Admiral Kuznetsov and, in 2012, it “broke down” off the coast of Spain on its way to Syria to prop up their old pal (and mass murderer) Bashar al-Assad.

What happens when a mammoth ship like an aircraft carrier that weighs (at its lightest) 43,000 tons can’t run on its own? You call for a tow, and in this case, it’s a super strong tugboat, named the Nikolay Chiker.
