Thanks to the Boston Globe, who collected and featured these Twitter videos of regular Boston citizens capturing the power and wonder that are the U.S. Navy’s Blue Angels.

According to the newspaper, the squadron of six fighter jets flew south to north over the harbor area and then right across legendary baseball venue Fenway Park — the home of the Boston Red Sox.

Next year, Commander Ryan Bernacchi — now a military fellow at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology in Cambridge, Mass. — will succeed Captain Thomas Frosch as squadron leader of the Angels and fly the No. 1 jet in 69 performances at 36 locations.
