If a grandson and grandfather could fly, if they had wings and were made out of expensive metal and drank gallons upon gallons of jet fuel, the following footage is what it would look like.

Because the in-cockpit view comes from a P-51 Mustang, an aerial stalwart of both World War II and the Korean War, while a younger generation of aircraft — the F-22 Raptor — cozies up to it flying pretty damn fast high up in the sky.

It took place recently at the 2015 Abbotsford International Airshow near Vancouver, British Columbia. The Raptor was flown by Major John “Taboo” Cummings while the relic Mustang (which belongs to the Heritage Flight Museum in Burlington, Washington) was piloted by Greg “B.A.” Anders.
