Michigan’s beloved son Bob Seger once howled about “Hollywood Nights” (“all those big city nights/in those high rolling hills”), but he probably never envisioned these kind of “heights” — literal ones — that six Ah-64 Apache attack choppers achieved in a tactical video from 2010.
While it’s unclear what the original mission was, the footage (which was captured on the nose of one of the aircraft and recorded with its TADS/PNVS imaging) depicts a joyride of sorts — buzzing the famous Hollywood sign and zooming up and down the cool California coast.
