This was taken by the United States Navy. It makes sense, because it’s one of their ships. A destroyer — the USS Porter — to be exact.
It was captured while it participated in Joint Warrior off the coast of Scotland this week. Headed by the United Kingdom, it’s a NATO training exercise that takes place twice a year and features all of the ships and aircraft in the tweeted infographic below (55 vessels, 14 countries).
