We are so inspired by the strength and continued sacrifices of the Kyle family. Chris Kyle’s autobiography was the inspiration behind the record-breaking and Oscar-nominated film American Sniper. This past week, Kyle’s widow Taya attended the SHOT Show hunting and firearms conference in Las Vegas. She thought she was participating in a raffle for charity.

AmericanSnipers.org and Taya Kyle had raised over $62,000 through a raffle whose prizes included a rifle signed by Taya. When Taya was at the AmericanSnipers.org booth to select the raffle winner, the organization’s representatives made a surprise announcement:

Every dime of raffle money is going to Taya and her family.

Her reaction is both heartbreaking and heartwarming.
