According to the United States Defense Department, a U.S. Air Force F-16 jet crashed on Tuesday at Bagram Air Base in Afghanistan.
Thankfully, news is that the pilot successfully ejected and is currently being looked at by doctors. Pentagon spokesman Peter Cook says the aircraft wrecked on takeoff.
