A man — not exactly a spring chicken, either — wearing a black beret and telling anyone who will listen that he’s a former (or current?) United States Special Forces lieutenant (82nd Airborne out of Fort Bragg, to be specific) who endured great challenges and tragedy on the field of battle including the time the helicopter he was in went down “behind enemy lines” in the infamous town of Fallujah in Iraq. Which, according to him, was a couple of years ago or more.
