If you’re a military veteran (or, in some cases, a dependent of a military veteran) and you suffer from illnesses or injuries that either began while you were serving — or got worse since — you should check the list below. If proven (after applying here) these conditions can get you either benefits (health care) or compensation (payments) through the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA).

– cancers caused by contact with toxic chemicals
