The last thing Whitney Constantine expected to find after she inspected her Theodore, Alabama home’s front yard was what she found Tuesday.

No, not a plastic pink flamingo. Or the neighbor’s garbage. Or a dog or a cat.

She found — ready for this?

A shark.

A dead shark.

According to a local news source (FOX10) the man-eating fish had been washed onto her property by flooding that had occurred the day before. The Alabaman lives between two bodies of water — the Dog River and the Fowl River.

Constantine told the reporter that the waters were up to her knees on Monday.

She also said that her husband “would most likely” give the deceased shark a (proper?) burial.
